Port Adelaide Grain Berth Wharf

The size of the wharf is 226 x 37.5m and is constructed of concrete beams and deck supported by 180 tubular steel piles. The scope of works also included a 320m long by 1.2m thick rock revetment, adjacent spray seal pavement, small amenities building and associated wharf services.

Engineering Surveys was involved in all elements of the wharf set-out including pile placement, grid set-out for concrete works, civil works and survey checking of revetment during rock placement. All works were completed using Trimble robotic total station (with reflector-less distance measurement).
