Oaklands Crossing Grade Separation
The Oaklands rail crossing is located 12.8km south of Adelaide on the Seaford rail line at the intersection of Diagonal and Morphett Roads. This Federal, State and local government funded project involved a grade separation of road and rail to reduce traffic congestion at a cost of $174 million.
Engineering Surveys as Project Surveyors have controlled all spatial elements for road works, bridge works and rail works, excavation, structures and services. Teams used S6 and S8 Trimble Robotic Total Stations and Trimble R10 GPS units.
