This $66m redevelopment will include restoration of the building's heritage façade and Eastern wall, the construction of a near 1500 seat auditorium over three levels with modern foyers and backstage facilities and a new front entrance and architectural feature glass canopy.

Engineering Surveys have been involved at all stages of the project, from initial detail surveys of streetscape and boundary, 3D surveys of structure post-demolition, monitoring of heritage walls during the demolition and building process for movement, and setout of all of the structural elements including in-situ concrete elements and cast-in hold down bolts for steel work.
