Adelaide Botanic High School

Located in Adelaide's CBD,  Adelaide Botanic High is South Australia's first vertical school.  A new structure was built alongside a re-purposed Reid Building creating flexible spaces and light filled atriums.  The building's environmental design minimizes water and energy use and has a five Green Star As-Built rating.

Engineering Surveys was involved in all aspects of construction including: initial site boundaries, setting up of grids and survey controls, all structural concrete, steel, facade setout and landscaped areas.  Surveys included establishing grids inside the existing Reid Building and 3D scanning of this existing structure to enable detailed steelwork design.
