Since establishing Engineering Surveys Pty Ltd in 1983, Derek Morrison has built and expanded this South Australian company to one of the leading Surveying companies in this state. It is now the 3rd largest surveying company in South Australia.  Derek has 35 years experience in surveying and project management, previous experience with the Highways Department; Derek has extensive Knowledge and history of managing large scale infrastructure survey projects.

David Topfer commenced with Engineering Surveys in 1994, and has been Project Surveyor on numerous engineering and civil projects including: Adelaide Oval Western & Eastern Stands Redevelopments, The New Adelaide Airport Terminal and Elevated Road; Glenelg to North Terrace Tramline Extension, Westlakes Shopping Centre Extension; Southern Expressway Bridges – Stage 1, Marion Shopping Centre Extension; Extensive detailing experience with various councils and including mapping of the Adelaide University Campus, Christies Beach waste water treatment plant pipeline detail and route design.

Perry Phillips commenced with Engineering Surveys in 2011, and has over 30 years experience in cadastral and engineering surveys including the River Murray bathymetric survey from Morgan to South Australian border; Precision surveys for large engineering structures (dam monitoring); River Torrens Linear Park earthworks setout and land acquisitions; Woolpunda Salt Interception Scheme; easement and land acquisitions; ACI Glassworks setout and monitoring of furnace upgrades; Adelaide Oval retractable lights construction setout;

Farzad Faraji commenced employment with Engineering Surveys in 2006 and has 9 years experience in the survey industry in Iran and South Australia working on major engineering and civil infrastructure projects.  Surveying experience includes: Olympic Dam Growth Project, Octagon Student Apartments, Burnside Village Stage 3, Adelaide Oval Western Stands Redvelopment, University of Adelaide’s new engineering building innova21, the new SAPOL Building, Globe Apartments, Uno Apartments and the Prominent Hill mine project.  Farzad has also done extensive pipeline design and set-out for Leed Engineering.
