Since establishing Engineering Surveys Pty Ltd in 1983, Derek Morrison has built and expanded this South Australian company to one of the leading Surveying companies in this state. It is now the 3rd largest surveying company in South Australia.  Derek has 35 years experience in surveying and project management, previous experience with the Highways Department; Derek has extensive Knowledge and history of managing large scale infrastructure survey projects.

Derek's areas of specialisation include: Project Management, allocation of staff and resources, accounting and business systems, building construction surveying and AutoCAD.

David Topfer commenced with Engineering Surveys in 1994, and has been Project Surveyor on numerous engineering and civil projects including: Adelaide Oval Western & Eastern Stands Redevelopments, The New Adelaide Airport Terminal and Elevated Road; Glenelg to North Terrace Tramline Extension, Westlakes Shopping Centre Extension; Southern Expressway Bridges – Stage 1, Marion Shopping Centre Extension; Extensive detailing experience with various councils and including mapping of the Adelaide University Campus, Christies Beach waste water treatment plant pipeline detail and route design.

David's areas of specialisation include building construction surveying, bridge and roadworks surveying, light rail construction surveying, AutoCAD, 12d Model, Trimble Geomatics Office, customization and development of in-house field, administration and accounting systems and software and development of Engineering Surveys quality management system to ISO:9001 standard.

David Barker commenced employment with Engineering Surveys in 1988.  David has been Project Surveyor on numerous major contracts including: Hindmarsh Island Bridge, Chain of Ponds Replacement Bridgeworks, Numerous overtaking lanes from Barmera to Renmark, Holden Press-lines construction, Amcor Bottling Plant at Gawler – a 'greenfields' development, Stages 1 and 2.

Perry Phillips commenced with Engineering Surveys in 2011, and has over 30 years experience in cadastral and engineering surveys including the River Murray bathymetric survey from Morgan to South Australian border; Precision surveys for large engineering structures (dam monitoring); River Torrens Linear Park earthworks setout and land acquisitions; Woolpunda Salt Interception Scheme; easement and land acquisitions; ACI Glassworks setout and monitoring of furnace upgrades; Adelaide Oval retractable lights construction setout;

Perry has considerable land development and cadastral experience including Large land subdivisions at Brompton, Bordertown, Keith, Streaky Bay, Elliston, Ceduna, Victor Harbor, Wirrina and Lincoln Cove; Preparation of 'As Constructed' plans and reports for DTEI, Councils, engineers, architects and SA Water; Wave & Edge Building: surveys and preparation of Strata Community plans for Primary, Secondary and Tertiary divisions; Extensive range of land division surveys throughout South Australia for Torrens and Community Titles including lodgement of plans using Electronic Plan Lodgement; Lease Plans and lease areas using Property Council of Australia guidelines;

Joe Cannizzaro commenced with Engineering Surveys in 1999 and has 19 years experience in the surveying industry. Joe has been Project Surveyor on numerous major road and bridgeworks projects including Portrush Road Upgrade Stage 1, Torrens Road widening, Port River Expressway Eastern Parade Bridge, and the Northern Expressway Bridges.

Joe's areas of specialisation include bridge and roadworks surveying, rail construction surveying, AutoCAD, Trimble Geomatics Office and 12d Model.

Darren Cross commenced work with Engineering Surveys in 2007 and has 19 years experience in the survey industry.  Major projects include MOSS detail survey of the Southern Expressway from Darlington to Reynella; Survey control & MX detail of the NEXY project, Gawler turn pike, Sturt Highway, Angle Vale to Globe derby; Moss detailing, set out and asbuilt checks for overtaking lanes throughout South Australia; Detail surveys for SA Water for sewer design and tank sites: Project Management of MX detail surveys undertaken by Engineering Surveys for DTEI since 2007; Detail surveys of TransAdelaide Rail infrastructure, including the Belair, Noarlunga, and Gawler lines and Adelaide rail yard, Adelaide railway station and Dry Creek holding yard.

Darren's areas of specialisation include: MX detail surveys, Survey Control surveys, 12d Model, Trimble Geomatics Office, rural and metropolitan cadastral surveying and development and implementation of detail survey quality systems.

Michael Templer commenced with Engineering Surveys in 1999 and has 12 years experience in the surveying industry. Michael has been Project Surveyor on numerous major road and bridgeworks projects including Pelican Point Power Station, Woomera Airport Refurbishment, The State Library Redevelopment, Portrush Road Upgrade Stages 2-5, Hampstead Regency Intersection Upgrade and the Anzac Highway Gallipoli Underpass.

Mark Ainsworth commenced employment with Engineering Surveys in 2003 and has 19 years experience in the survey industry.  Major projects have included Elliston to Lock original detail survey; Victor Harbor to Mount Compass detail survey; Road detail surveys for Queensland Main Roads, design and set out of urban roads in Port Moresby NG, Glenelg – Adelaide Tramline detail and construction Survey; McKinlay Ridge Subdivision; Potts Road subdivision, Angle Vale; Harbourtown  commercial subdivision; Adelaide Airport  aprons taxiways and access roads; Project Surveyor, Bakewell Underpass, 2008, Project Surveyor, North Terrace to Entertainment Centre Tramline extension, 2010.

Michelle Grose commenced employment with Engineering Surveys in 2009 and has 19 years experience in the survey industry working on major engineering and civil infrastructure projects.  Surveying experience includes: Olympic Dam (underground development and SX plant reconstruction), Adelaide to Crafers Highway tunnels, Citylink (Melbourne), Northside Storage Tunnel (Sydney), M5 East motorway (Sydney), Lane cove Tunnel (Sydney), EastLink (Melbourne).

Michelle's areas of specialisation include tunnel and micro-tunneling surveying, bridge and roadworks surveying, engineering and topographic surveys, AutoCAD, Trimble Geomatics Office, Terramodel, various tunnel guidance software and 12d Model.

Farzad Faraji commenced employment with Engineering Surveys in 2006 and has 9 years experience in the survey industry in Iran and South Australia working on major engineering and civil infrastructure projects.  Surveying experience includes: Olympic Dam Growth Project, Octagon Student Apartments, Burnside Village Stage 3, Adelaide Oval Western Stands Redvelopment, University of Adelaide’s new engineering building innova21, the new SAPOL Building, Globe Apartments, Uno Apartments and the Prominent Hill mine project.  Farzad has also done extensive pipeline design and set-out for Leed Engineering.
