Bakewell Underpass Official Opening
13.01.2008Drivers were able to use Adelaide's new $41 million Bakewell Underpass for the first time today after it's official opening this morning. South Australian Premier Mike Rann and Transport Minister Patrick Conlon officially opened the new route, which passes under James Congdon Drive at Mile End.
The project is one of Adelaide's largest infrastructure projects in the last 10 years, and marks a significant improvement and opening of a corridor to the west.
Congratulations to our Project Surveyor Mark Ainsworth and all the team on the fantastic job they've done providing the essential survey backbone for this project; well done guys.
